We welcome new volunteers as drivers and duty officers. We offer a very flexible opportunity to contribute within our local community. Please see details below of these roles - some wonderful volunteers do both!

Drivers needed!  

We always welcome new volunteer drivers to help provide a service for our clients.

You use your own car to take clients to medical appointments, collecting them from their home and returning them home later. 

You choose when, where and how frequently you drive.

Most appointments are to surgeries, dentists, hospitals etc. in Fleet, Farnham, Aldershot and Frimley.

Occasionally we go further afield including Basingstoke, Guildford, and London.

You can claim mileage allowance for the drives you do for us.

All our drivers are DBS checked and we ask for references. 

You can start driving once your application has been approved.

Duty Officers needed! Please email communicareinfleet@gmail.com

Duty Officers are a key link with our clients.

You would work from home on a rota, usually for one day from 9:45am to approx 4:30pm once a month.

Calls to Communicare’s number are transferred to your phone during your duty.

You receive incoming requests for transport from clients and then post the tasks available to our volunteer drivers using WhatsApp.

You then record all details in a daybook and diary.

We will cover your incidental expenses.

Our duty officers are DBS checked and we ask for references.
